RenaissanceTee by android272
This is a TeeWorlds adaptation of the "Renaissance Man" by Leonardo da Vinci.  I think that when creating characters, especially semi to non humanoid ones, that you should put them in the Renaissance Man Chart.  It makes you think about what the full movement of the character can be. Obviously you can always brake the rules that you create, but it is still a good idea.

Even though Tees are only seen in 2D in the game it is still important to think of them as though they are in a 3D world.  If your making fan art whether that be a drawing, comic or even a 3D model this could help you make them more believable. Just something to make this image look more like the Renaissance Man.

I first started drawing this in Mypaint then moved to Inkscape and did some editing with GIMP.  The Text is actually "Leonardo Da Vinci's" hand writing. I found a font on Dafont of his hand writing and used it for this image.

FOSS by android272
Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).  I have been wanting to mix the Free Software Foundation and the Open Source Initiative Logos for some time. I know that  Richard Stallman would not approve of this logo But I think that the fact that an apps source code is open to the public is just as important than the freedom aspects.

FOSS is software that respects your freedoms and does not enslave you like proprietary software does.  The free in Free Software does not mean that the software is free as in gratis but refers to freedom.

There are four freedoms that every user should be given to be able to completely control their programs.  The four freedoms are as follows.

Freedom 0: The freedom to run the program for any purpose.
Freedom 1: The freedom to study how the program works, and change it to make it do what you wish.

These two freedoms give each user the power to use and change the software however they wish.  but this is not enough because most users do not know how to program and even if they did we use so many programs that we essentially would not have control.  In order to have total control over our programs we must have collective control as well which means any group of user must be free to work together to exercise their version of the work. Thus the next two freedoms are also essential.

Freedom 2: The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help your neighbor.
Freedom 3: The freedom to improve the program, and release your improvements (and modified versions in general) to the public, so that the whole community benefits.

These two freedoms allows people in a group to cooperate with each other as they make changes in their work and also to offer their version to others if they wish.  With these four freedoms the user is in control of the software and not any one else.  When you use software such as Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator you are not in control of your software that you bought they are. Adobe has total control of your software. This is why I use GIMP instead of Photoshop and Inkscape instead of Illustrator as well as much other apps.
